Hi, I’m Lupita a Chicago city based hairstylist. I never imagined I’d become a hairstylist. Growing up as the daughter of two immigrant parents, the dream was to become “someone” (a doctor or a lawyer) because that’s what success looked like to them and at some point to me as well. Ask me about it if you’d like to hear the full story. At five years old, I taught myself how to braid. It wasn’t about beauty at first; it was about the soothing rhythm, the sense of focus, and the quiet joy of making someone else feel special.
Even then, I realized what I loved most about doing hair wasn’t just the end result, it was the connection. It’s where I learned how deeply beauty and humanity intertwine. I’ve always been able to see the best in people, even when they can’t see it themselves, and hair became my way of reflecting that back to them.
Once I decided to pursue this path, I promised myself that if I was going to do it, I’d be the best hairstylist I could be, not just technically, but soulfully. My parents gave me the gift of perseverance, and it’s the same drive that guides me behind my business.
Today, I specialize in dry haircutting, balayage, lived-in hair color, and extensions that look and feel like your own. Graceful, modern, and timeless. My suite is an intimate, calm space designed for you to truly unwind. Whether we’re talking about life, books, or the latest documentary or tv series, I let you set the tone. My approach is always grounded in calm energy, inclusivity, and genuine care.
Outside of the salon, I’m an avid learner, yoga and fitness lover, and a devoted dog mom to Chloe, my golden doodle. I believe the way we care for ourselves and the beings around us is a reflection of how we move through the world.
